ISS 60th anniversary

ISS: 1952-2012

During the academic year 2012-2013 ISS is celebrating its 60th anniversary. Most of the activities and festivities have taken place during the Lustrum week from 8 to 13 October 2012. The overarching theme of the lustrum activities is Knowledge for Development, Justice & Equity.

The main event during the lustrum week was the celebration of the Dies Natalis on 11 October. Professor Robert Chambers from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) delivered the keynote lecture on this special occasion.

Videos of many of the Lustrum events are on our YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/issmedia
