Alumni evening in Kerala with the ISS Rector and several other staff members
An alumni meeting was held at the Centre for Development Studies (CDS) at Trivandrum, India. The meeting was hosted by ISS Rector, Leo de Haan, who was in India to attend a joint ISS/CDS conference, as a final activity of an international research project on gender and migration.Some ISS alumni also attended this conference.
As part of the conference a cultural event with traditional Indian dance and music was organized, followed by a dinner. This was attended both by the Rector and staff of the ISS, as well as the ISS alumni.
ISS alumni described their current line of work and how they have been able to use their ISS MA and PHD studies in India.
Overall the alumni meeting was a great success!
