Alumni gathering in Montreal with prospective students
An alumni dinner was hosted by Dr. Andrew Fischer in Montreal on 18 May 2012. Four alumni - one with very impressive experience - and 2 prospective students attended. The prospective student was very excited to come to ISS by the end of the evening and also made his girlfriend, a prospective ISS student, applying to SPD, very enthusiastic.

Alumni dinner / meeting in Bogota- a very good time was had by all, alumni and prospective students
The alumni gathering in Bogota went really well, with a nice mix between future and old students. Over 40 attended altogether. It was really interesting for the prospective students to talk to the alumni and hear about their time at ISS. Dr. Georgina Gomez hosted the gathering.

The guest of honour was the Dutch Ambassador in Accra, Ghana H.E. Gerard Duijfjes and the fellowship officer of the embassy. Professor Ben White of ISS hosted the gathering.

Alumni gathering in Nairobi very happy and successful
A very successful and happy alumni gathering was held in Nairobi, Kenya on 2 February 2012, which was very well attended. Dr Auma Okwany of ISS hosted the meeting. The total number of people was 56, including the Dutch Ambassador and the Fellowship Officer.

Alumni event in Jakarta great success
A very happy and interesting alumni meeting was held in Jakarta, Indonesia on 11 January 2012, hosted by Professor Max Spoor, Professor Ben White and Associate Professor Jun Borras. 48 alumni, including alumni from Japan, the Philippines and the US, who happened to be in Jakarta, attended the event at Le Meridien in Jakarta. The 1st Secretary of the Netherlands Embassy, Mr. A. van der Zanden, was present as well and gave a short talk on the developments in Dutch-Indonesian cooperation. This event shows that the cooperation between ISS, its alumni and NESO is working very well.
