Refresher courses
Are you interested in further ISS training in your home country?
If so, you may be interested in organizing a refresher course. This is a wonderful way to refresh your knowledge and provides an excellent opportunity to strengthen your network.
Nuffic’s NFP programme has, under certain conditions, funds available for a group of alumni or an alumni association to organize a refresher course.
So if you have any ideas for a one or two week training course, discuss these with other alumni and contact ISS through Veronica Goussatchenko (goussatchenko@iss.nl). The Nuffic website gives more information on the application and selection procedure.
The deadline each year is 31 October.
Refresher courses in 2012
Unfortunately ISS does not perform refresher courses in 2012 but ISS NFP alumni are welcome to apply for one of the refresher courses of ITC aned IHS, similar institutes as ISS but focusing on different topices (ITC on Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation and IHS on housing and urban development).
Courses on offer are in the area of a.o. health, natural resources, planning and transport, climate change and environment, housing and public private partnerships.
