Refresher Courses in 2013
ISS will organize a Refresher Course in Uganda on Re-imaging young people's right to education, health and well-being: A gender and generation perspective on current dilemmas and challenges in Eastern Africa.
More information on the course and the registration will follow.
ISS Alumni are also cordially invited to apply for Refresher Courses organized by ITC and IHS, similar institutes as ISS but focusing on different topices (ITC on Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation and IHS on housing and urban development).
The courses are open for NFP alumni from the countries were the course will be held as well as neighbouring countries and who are working in an area that is related to the theme of the course.

Are you interested in further ISS training in your country or region?
If so, you may be interested in organizing a Refresher Course. This is a wonderful way to refresh your knowledge and provides an excellent opportunity to strengthen your network.
Nuffic’s NFP programme has funds available for a group of alumni or an alumni association to organize a Refresher Course.
Please discuss your ideas for a two week training course with other alumni and contact ISS through Veronica Goussatchenko (goussatchenko@iss.nl). The Nuffic website gives more information on the application and selection procedure.
The deadline each year is 31 October.
