Research
Currently, I am pursuing the PhD in Development Studies with a research on learning and networking processes in the evolution of business start-ups located in the South-Eastern Brazil. Critical learning episodes and evolutionary pathways are core concepts of the thesis. I have experience in teaching in Psychology and Business Management courses at the undergraduate level (2003-2007); and research and consultancy in Work and Organisational Psychology in interface with Business Management topics (since 2003). I have actively participated in research projects in other areas of Psychology since 1995. Recently, I worked as guest lecturer and research assistant at the ISS (since 2011). In other fields, I worked on evaluation of social programmes and projects for NGOs (2002, 2004), local tutelary council for children and youth rights in the Sao Paulo State (1999-2001), and in the federal civil service as analyst of science and technology (2004-2005). Recent publications include papers on social networks of researchers and the co-editorship of two collections of papers in Development Studies. My main areas of interest are organisational studies, social networks for knowledge production, policies for S&T production, inter-organisational networks, learning in organisations, multilevel studies and evolution of small enterprises.
