Access from home via VPN
The electronic resources (databases, e-journals and e-books) are accessible off-campus to EUR staff and students. To use this service you need
- your ERNA access code;
- Internet access;
- a VPN (Virtual Private Network) connection.
You do not need a VPN connection to use the University Library catalogues. They can be used with any Internet connection.
If you see a green checkmark, then you have a working VPN connection. Your IP address begins with 130.115. If you see a red cross you do not have a VPN connection.

Your current IP address is: 171.67.65.203
If you see a red cross, you have two options:
1. You need to establish a VPN connection.
Read the manuals below for instructions on how to set up a VPN connection:
Manual VPN - Windows 2000
Manual VPN - Windows 7
Manual VPN - Windows XP
Manual VPN - Windows Vista
Manual VPN - Mac (NB: the EUR offers no support for the Mac)
Manual VPN - iPhone
2. Your connection is not working properly. You need help establishing the VPN connection.
You’ve followed the instructions in the manual but cannot establish a VPN connection. Please contact the help desk of your faculty or service.
