In the table below you can see how to acquire a library card and whether you are entitled to a free membership.

Membership starts only after registration and payment of the membership fee. Registration includes: full name, home address, work address and e-mail address. A current passport and proof of current home address will be required to validate the information.

Students from Dutch universities and institutions for higher education (hogescholen and HBO instellingen) are also required to show a valid student card.

Loss or theft

In case of loss or theft of an ISS service card or library card the borrower should inform ILIAD immediately. Until this is done, the borrower will be held responsible for all items borrowed with the card.
