Professors Arts and Opschoor members of AIV

Two ISS professors become members of this important Dutch government advisory council

ISS Professor Karin Arts and ISS emeritus Professor and former Rector Hans Opschoor were recently appointed as members of the Advisory Council on International Affairs (AIV). The AIV advises the Dutch government and parliament on foreign policy.

Professors Arts and Opschoor join ISS professor Rolph van der Hoeven who has been a member of AIV since 2009

Karin Arts was reappointed (for a second term) as a member of the AIV Human Rights Commission.

Hans Opschoor was appointed (first term) as a member of the AIV Development Cooperation  Commission.
