Public Interest Litigation in South Africa: Journal Special Issue

Co-edited monograph by ISS Senior Lecturer Jeff Handmaker with colleagues Jackie Dugard and Jonathan Klaaren at the University of Witswatersrand

This co-edited monograph was published as a special issue, Volume 27(1) of the South African Journal on Human Rights.

The special issue, which devotes considerable attention to litigation strategies on behalf of asylum seekers and refugees, consists of an introduction, six fully-fledged articles, four current developments or case notes and a number of related book reviews and incorporates both scholarly and practitioner-oriented perspectives.

The entire special issue is fully-available as an open access publication, thanks to an agreement between the publishers (Juta) and the Editorial Board of the South African Journal on Human Rights.
