Professor Irene van Staveren at Occupy Rotterdam

Discussion on Euro crisis and financial crisis

Professor Irene van Staveren has participated in a meeting of Occupy Rotterdam on 21 December 2011 in Rotterdam. The subject was the Euro and financial crisis.

Van Staveren spoke about an alternative balance between market, state, and the care economy. She also discussed the recommendations of the Sustainable Finance Lab, of which she is a member. There were about 50 Occupy representatives and supporters present.
