Formal and informal dynamics of employment growth in the Agricultural sector of the Brazilian Northeast

New publication by Visiting PhD Fellow, Juscelino Bezerra.

Visiting PhD Fellow, Juscelino Bezerra has co-written an article in 'Investigaciones Geograficas' on formal and informal dynamics of employment growth in the Agricultural sector of the Brazilian Northeast.

Juscelino Bezerra, a PhD student in labour geography from UNESP in Sao Paulo, is at ISS until March 2012.

Whilst at ISS he will further his PhD work on value chain governance, standards and labour conditions within various fruit chains between Brazil and Holland.

He is funded by the Sao Paulo state based FAPESP research and scholarships programme.
