Senior Bangladeshi officials study at ISS

'Managing Change, Changing Management in Public Water Institutions' executive training course

From 20 February to 2 March 9 senior government officials from the Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB), the Ministry of Water Resources and the Planning Commission, are following an Executive Training Course at ISS entitled
Managing Change, Changing Management in Public Water Institutions.

Led by ISS Professor Max Spoor, the programme contains a combination of workshops, classroom lectures and
fieldtrips to Dutch water institutions, such as the Water Boards 'Zuiderzeeland', 'Hollands Noorderkwartier', and
'Scheldestromen'; the Netherlands Water Partnership and the Vice-ministry of Water (Rijkswaterstaat), and important water works (polders, pumping stations, delta works, and storm surge barriers).
