Wendy Harcourt to give keynote speech at UN Women policy dialogue

'New dynamics for gender equality in a changing context'
At the UN Women and UNDESA DCF VIENNA POLICY DIALOGUE 13-14 December 2012 on 'Advancing gender equality and women’s empowerment: The role of development cooperation'
The keynote address will look at the implications of the changing international development landscape for a post 2015 UN development agenda (new partners, new approaches, rising inequalities, concentration of poor in post conflict countries and LDCs, rising inequalities in middle income countries).
Wendy Harcourt is senior lecturer at ISS. She is ia feminist researcher and activist and chief editor of the quarterly journal Development.
