ISS alumnus Kenya killed

We are shocked to learn about the passing away of our alumnus James Hungi Mugwe who studied MA Public Policy and Management in 2005/2006.

James Hungi Mugwe worked in the Presidents Office as a District Commissioner in lower Yatta in Kenya and he was finalizing a PhD in Kenya.

He was murdered in a school robbery at St. Joseph's Githunguri in Kiambu district as he visited a friend.

Our thoughts are with his wife, children and other relatives and friends.

A few from the many quotes from James' former class mates:

"Jimmy was a great character."

"I personally remember James to a person of a very strong character."

"I made FB chats several times with James. He told me that he was in the process of completing his Ph.D in Kenya."

"He was my PPM class mate in ISS. He was an intelligent and friendly man."

"You 'll always be in our memory my friend. May God give you eternal rest & may your soul rest in peace!"
