ISS and Nuffic celebrate 60 years of cooperation

Presents were exchanged at a lunch meeting yesterday
Nuffic established ISS 60 years ago in the Palace Noordeinde where both organizations were housed. After 25 years in the palace we both moved to Hotel De Wittebrug in The Hague, while in 1993 both organizations moved to the Kortenaerkade. For quite some time there has been no formal organizational link between us but we do of course work closely with Nuffic when it comes to the Niche, NFP and other programmes and also for practical things regarding housing, electricity etc.
At a lunch meeting yesterday presents were exchanged. ISS gave Nuffic a piece of art from the Flemish artist Jan Verschueren that will be given a place at the entrance of the Nuffic building. ISS received a water colour of Palace Noordeinde, painted by Leo Wisselink. The water colour will be hung prominently in the ISS building.
