2012 Global Development Awards and Medals Competition

The Global Development Network (GDN) is currently inviting submissions for the 2012 Global Development Awards and Medals Competition.

This year, the focus is on Inequality, Social Protection and Inclusive Growth. Research is invited on the below mentioned research themes:

1.       Inequality

2.       Social Protection and Social Policies

3.       Inclusive Growth

The competition accepts submissions in the following three categories:

·         Japanese Award for Outstanding Research on Development (ORD)

Deadline: 11 March, 2013

First Prize: US$ 30,000; Second Prize: US$ 10,000; Third Prize: US$ 5,000

·         Medals for Research on Development (Medals)

Deadline: 11 March, 2013

First Prize: US$ 10,000; Second Prize: US$ 5,000

·         Japanese Award for Most Innovative Development Project (MIDP)

Deadline: 11 March, 2013

First Prize: US$ 30,000; Second Prize: US$ 10,000; Third Prize: US$ 5,000
