ISS alumna Shaheen Ashraf Shah (Gender and Economic Policy Analysis, 2006) just received the Australian Alumni Excellence Award 2013 for her outstanding career achievements after completing her Endeavor Executive Award at University of Western Australia in 2007. Ms. Shaheen A. Shah is a Doctoral Researcher on Women and Gender Studies at Warwick University UK. Her doctoral research thesis focuses on the “effects of women parliamentarians’ presence and representation of their interests in the National Parliament of Pakistan”. Apart from her study at ISS Shaheen Ashraf has an MSc. in Public Policy (UK), Master in Business Administration (Pak) and many other credentials in the field of gender and development. She served as visiting Research Fellow at University of Western Australia (2007) and Loughborough University (2004) in the UK.
