Wil Hout appointed co-editor of the European Political Science Review

He joins Professor B. Guy Peters of the University of Pittsburgh (USA) on the editorial board

Professor Wil Hout was appointed to the editorial board of the European Political Science Review by the Publications Board of the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR), with the approval of the ECPR'S Executive Committee.

The European Political Science Review (EPSR) offers an indispensable and stimulating source of new scholarship in all areas of political science. The journal aims to meet the needs of all who wish to maintain a broad awareness of important new work in the discipline.

The appointment as co-editor of one of the prime European political science journals, published by Cambridge University Press in association with ECPR, is for an initial period of three years.

Wil Hout succeeds Professor Donatella Della Porta of the European University Institute in Florence and will edit the journal jointly with Professor B. Guy Peters of the University of Pittsburgh (USA).


Wil HoutWil Hout is Professor of Governance and International Political Economy, and was Deputy Rector for Academic Affairs from 2007 to 2011. He is leader of the ISS research programme Governance, Globalization and Social Justice.

From 1990 to 2000, he was senior editor of Acta Politica, the journal of the Dutch Political Science Association. He has been on the editorial board of the Internationale Spectator, the main Dutch journal on international relations published by the Netherlands Institute for International Relations 'Clingendael', since 1995.
