Two ISS alumni Governor in Kenya

Following the general elections in Kenya on 4 March 2013, the 47 counties in the country have new elected Governors. Two of them are former students of ISS.
ISS alumnus Ken Lusaka has been elected the first Governor of Bungoma County. Kenneth Lusaka was in the MA programme Public Policy and Administration 1996/1997.
James E. Ongwae is now Governor of Kisii Country. He was enrolled in the Economic and Social Studies and Policy programme at ISS in 1984/1985.
We wish both alumni wisdom and strength to contribute to a strong and peaceful Kenya.
The full list of Governors is available through the Standard Digital News.
