ISS students deliver keynote speech at Lions-UN conference on the impact of social media on power

ISS students present research finding on the impact of social media on power.

SCHOLAS International Relations Committee and ISS students presented their research findings on the impact of social media on power at the Lions Club Netherlands' yearly UN conference, organized at ISS on 9 March 2013.

Juan Raul Escobar presented his paper 'The revolution will not be tweeted' and Sara Salem spoke on her work on social media and the Egyptian Revolution 'Creating spaces for dissent'.

Genevieve Partington and ISS senior lecturer Helen Hintjens discussed the UN and social media 'Reluctant partners'.
