Abstract:
The right to health of the child will be discussed with a focus on children's right to have access to child-friendly health care. What does child-friendliness mean? What are the minimum requirements to ensure access for children to (child-friendly) health care and what does the Convention on the Rights of the Child specify on this issue. The most recent developments in a European context will be discussed as well as the interpretation of the right in countries with different levels of economic development.
There will be room for debate.
