ISS students telling world stories
The best stories from all over the world. Residents from The Hague were invited by Theater Dakota as part of the annual literature festival Writers Unlimited to tell their best story, including the Municipal Councillor Rabin Baldewsingh, and barista Barro Kessler. The international students of the Institute of Social Studies (ISS) from The Hague will be telling their stories to the audience. International writers are also participating. From Pakistan, Curaçao and Iraq. Ngwatilo Mawiyoo (Kenya) will sing her poems, accompanied by Mark Tuinstra and Serigne Gueye. Gregg Mwendwa, aslo from Kenya, works for Hivos and talks about arts and culture in Africa, and about the power of story-telling. The programme was prepared together with Theater Dakota, Hivos Cultuurfonds, Writers Unlimited, De Kosmonaut, and ISS. Language: English as well as Dutch.
