Theme: Social Policy After the Financial Crisis

Women forging their way through Pakistan’s multiple crises. 

The talk will  present a brief overview of the complexity of the crises (poverty and food security, conflict, natural disasters, violence against women) and their global and internal dimensions; it will highlight their impact on women; detail the various initiatives/strategies to address them; challenges, future prospects and possible pathways for achieving women’s rights to equality and opportunities.
