'The Political Economy of Occupations'

The symposium will investigate the global consequences of occupation. The keynote speech will be given by Professor Syed Mansoob Murshed, Professor of the Economics of Conflict and Peace at ISS.

Professor Kim van der Borght, Professor of International Economic Law, Centre for Economic Law & Governance, Free University Brussels, will give the first response. This will be followed by a general discussion with members of the audience.

After the discussion the Visions of Peace Thesis Prize will be presented.
