Prospective students
Welcome to ISS!
More than 10,000 people from all over the world have studied at ISS. Why? Because of our Institute's academic approach: ISS is a diverse intellectual community that challenges and debates with conventional, mainstream approaches that tend to oversimplify the study and practice of development. While a theoretical approach lies at the core of ISS, our extensive research and policy-oriented projects indicate an equally strong practical understanding that is brought forth in our teaching programmes. ISS has become well-known as a truly international centre in a friendly, vibrant and cosmopolitan learning environment.
