Break-out session 3: Trust in Health Insurance

For low income people in the South, experiences with health insurance are often lacking or negative. In addition, insurance premiums have to be paid in advance for something which may or may not happen in the future. The quality of the care cannot be guaranteed in advance. Therefore, trust in the insurance, the health care provider and the insurance provider plays an important role in the decision to buy insurance.
