Demand for health insurance is often considered to be low and increasing slow. Especially for policy makers and practitioners it is essential to know what are the most effective and efficient ways in which they can contribute to increasing demand. Therefore it is important to know which factors, through which mechanisms in which context influence demand and which ones are most effective to influence.
