Metropolis Conference 2010
ISS is involved in the development of the academic content of the 15th International Metropolis Conference from October 4 to 8 2010.The City of The Hague will host the meeting that will take place in the World Forum Convention Centre (WFCC). The conference is a prestigious international event dealing with
- migration
- integration
- citizenship
Former ISS Rector, Louk de la Rive Box, participated in the Academic Steering Committee of the conference and ISS will be conducting at least two workshops in the conference on:
- Citizenships Initiatives in Social Empowerment - the case of Laak Noord; coordinated by EFSQ
- Realising human rights: towards cities of safety and sanctuary, coordinated by Helen Hintjens and Rachel Kurian
