Who we are
Our cluster is composed of dynamic, creative researchers and teachers seeking to transcend boundaries and develop innovative approaches. Our group represents many different disciplines, including political science, sociology, economics, law and anthropology.
Common concern
We all share a common concern: how to maximise human security and social justice in an age of global transformation. We are open to methodological pluralism, triangulation, cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary dialogues to develop new knowledge about migration as one of the most important issue of our time. Our cluster members are connected with numerous policy networks and debates in their specialized fields. Coming together as a group means that information and ideas emerging from these networks will be shared to strengthen the group as a whole.
Diversity
The interests of the cluster members are diverse. We intend to maintain this diversity and will bring different perspectives and research interests together in a mutually supportive manner. The cluster remains open to new members and we will keep the lines of research flexible so that new members can determine more easily how they can situate their research interests and develop organic links with us.
