Patience Mutopo is currently a PhD Research fellow, with the Cologne African Studies Centre, University of Cologne, Germany. Her research interests focus on gender, land rights, bio fuel production, agricultural value chains health and agro ecosystems. She is a member of the Legal Empowerment of the Poor coordinated by the Department of Environment and Development at the University of Oslo and the Norwegian Centre for Human rights. Patience has expertise in reproductive human rights issues in Africa specifically focusing on adolescent girls. Her region of focus is Southern Africa.
