The LDPI Approach

Three main strategies in the work of LDPI

  1. Generate in-depth reseach and systematize cross-national and cross-regional comparative studies - global coordinating teams working with collaborators from different regions.
  2. Create a space for the mutually beneficial exchange of data, information and knowledge - with other actors such as agrarian movements, independent think tanks, research institutions, development agencies, development policy experts and policy makers.

Publications

The aim is for all publications to be produced in English, Portuguese, Spanish, French. LDPI will start its own Working Paper Series to facilitate exchanges of information between interested groups (academic, government, civil society, researchers, activists).

The Working Paper Series will produce peer reviewed publications of LDPI research outputs as well as publishing submissions from research outside the LDPI initiative.
