At its core, the IPED specialization scrutinizes how key aspects of the present international landscape shape the developmental trajectories of individuals residing in developing nations and transitional economies.
IPED students are equipped with the tools to dissect the mechanisms through which prevailing agendas mold the frameworks within which national governments, private enterprises, and civil society entities pursue their objectives. Particularly, the programme zeroes in on the pervasive impact of neoliberalism on the fabric of global capitalism over the past three decades, as well as the developmental agenda advocated by proponents of liberal internationalism.
