On 27 May 2019, ISS lecturer of Work, Organisation and Labour Rights, Lee Pegler, will chair a round table discussion with Gabriela Russo Lopes, Tim Boekhout and Vandria Borari entitled 'Amazon indigenous people, global agribusiness and authoritarian government'. 

During this roundtable, Lee Pegler will chair as each speaker brings up a different topic related to 'Amazon indigenous people, global agribusiness and authoritarian government'. 

Gabriela Russo Lopes will discuss the topic of 'Amazonian land-use and commodities chains', while Tim Boekhout will raise the topic of 'Illegal deforestation and access to justice by traditional communities '.

Vandria Borari will add to the round table the topic of 'Soybeans production in Indigenous territories'.
