To aid you in exploring research the Library offers access to a wide array of databases. However, the amount of databases can be overwhelming and actually finding the literature that you need can be tricky. Join the Library workshop on the Use of Databases for Social Sciences on November 30th, 15:00-16:30 hrs CEST to learn about search terms for online resources, get a better overview of what is out there, and which databases suit your needs.

In the workshop, aimed at PhD candidates but open for other researchers as well, we will:

  • learn how search terms can impact your search results
  • go over a selection of the databases and their characteristics
  • share practical tips on using certain databases
