Not a student or employee of the EUR? You are still more than welcome to utilize the services in the ISS Library. Below you will find an overview of the possibilities.
The collection is available for consultation in the library. In order to view a certain book, report or journal, you must request it a day in advance before 4.00 p.m. using our application form.
Please include the details of the publication, such as the title, author, year of publication and request number if available. You will find this in sEURch. You can collect the publication the next day with a service card. You will be notified by email when your book is available for collection. Find out how to get a service card at the bottom of this page.Â
Do you also want to borrow a book besides just viewing it? In this case you need a library card. To collect your library card, please show your ID to the service desk in the ISS Library. Payment is possible with your debit card.

In order to consult our digital collection (through search engine sEURch and separate subject-specific databases) you will need a service card. Read how to collect this card below.
With the service card, corresponding login codes and a PC located on the campus or your own laptop, you have access to the internet and the possibility to browse through the digital collection. Think of: e-journals, newspapers, legislation, jurisprudence, reference works, financial and statistical data. It is possible to download and print your collected information.Â
On ISSÂ campus you can connect as a guest/visitor to Eduroam, the WiFi network of the EUR. You can arrange this as follows:
- Ask an EUR employee or student to look up the day code on my.eur.nl/guestwifi. The code is also available at the service desk in the library.
- By texting this day code to the phone number +316 35 777 876 you will receive a username (gebruikersnaam) and password (wachtwoord) that is valid all day.
The WiFi code is also shown on a sign near the reception desk of ISS.
Service card
A service card allows you to request and view publications, browse the digital collection and make prints, scans and photocopies. To collect your free service card, please show your ID at the service desk in the ISS Library. The desk is open from 9.00 on Monday to Friday. The card is valid for one day and must be returned by 16.45.Â
