'The Right to Development' - registration open for free E

ISS professor, Karin Arts is to contribute to a UN e-learning module on the Right to Development.

About the module

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR, Geneva, Switzerland), the University for Peace (Ciudad Colon, San José, Costa Rica), and the United Nations University’s International Institute for Global Health (UNU-IIGH, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) are jointly offering a four-week interactive and instructor-led e-learning module on the normative, theoretical and practical importance of, and mechanisms for, operationalizing the Right to Development in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.

ISS Professor of International Law and Development Karin Arts contributed a sub-module on ‘The Right to Development and Children’.

Dates and costs

The course is free of charge and will initially be delivered in two rounds in January and April 2018.

The application deadline for both rounds is 24 November 2017.
