How to get a room
MA students who have confirmed their arrival at ISS with the Admission Office, will receive an email about accommodation 1 to 2 months prior to arrival.
PhD researchers who have confirmed their starting date, will receive an email from the PhD office about accommodation prior to their arrival.
Visiting researchers or other visitors can request a room by sending an email to the EUR ISS Housing Team.
The EUR ISS Housing Team will determine if the housing request can be approved and will send you further details about how to register for a specific room.
Tenancy agreement, receiving keys and payment
When your housing request is approved, you will receive a tenancy agreement (from DUWO for Dorus Rijkersplein and Bazarlaan or from ISS for Buitenom and Gondelstraat) and information about how to pay the rent and administration fee (€ 100).
You are required to sign the tenancy agreement and pay the first month's rent. When you arrive in The Hague you will receive the keys to your room from DUWO or ISS.
The rent for the other months has to be paid before the first day of the new month. You can only pay the rent by bank transfer.
