Deferral procedure

Please re-register via Studielink.

Studielink is the national Dutch system for registration in Higher Education. You will first have to re-register with Studielink and continue in the Erasmus University Portal to apply to the ISS programme. You took these steps last year and will have to follow the same route this year.

Registration is possible from 02 October 2023 for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Please note that you will receive an email mentioning that your application has been cancelled for the 2023-2024 programme via Studielink. Please do NOT worry. This is an automatic process in their system. They cancel your application for the 2023-2024 programme because you did not start your study. You can still defer your admission to 2024-2025.

Re-register using Studielink

You will need your Studielink username and password. NB - please do not try to login more then 4 times. If you do, your Studielink account will be locked. Please use the Forgotten username and/or password link instead (see below).

Then select the Major you were accepted for in 2023-2024. Click Continue on each of the subsequent pages until you come to the question: How do you intend to cover the costs.

Once you have done this, you must click "SUBMIT" at the bottom of the page.
