Climate Resilience in Diverse African Contexts: Co-creating knowledge∞action networks (Climares) is a consortium of seven African and seven Dutch universities and societal partners. It works with dozens of researchers and actors in DRC, Mozambique, Morocco, Senegal and Uganda to investigate and address climate threats for at-risk populations in a range of governance and socioeconomic contexts in these countries.
It is funded by the Dutch Research Council (NWO).
The Climares Consortium will be hosted by the Hague Humanitarian Studies Centre of the International Institute of Social Studies.

Climares partnerships
The Climares consortium is composed of seven research institutions from the Netherlands and seven from Africa, with the support of various non-academic partners. For a list of Climares partner organizations, please see the Climares website.
