On 12 June 2023, Renata Cavalcanti Muniz will defend her thesis on economic diplomacy in Brazil.
In her thesis, Renata Cavalcanti Muniz addresses nuances of economic diplomacy practice, including its relation to power and its potential to shape development promotion.
She investigates the relationship between Brazil and the Netherlands, looking particularly at the Porto Central port development veture involving the Port of Rotterdam and TPK Logistica.

The ceremony will begin promptly at 16:00 hrs in the Aula of the ISS, Kortenaerkade 12, The Hague. The doors will be closed after the start of the Public Defence, but will be briefly opened after the candidate’s introduction to allow latecomers to enter.
Children under 7 years old are not allowed in the Aula during the first part of the ceremony.
Professors are invited to join the academic procession.
