On 21 June 2018, Professor Max Spoor will deliver his valedictory lecture entitled 'Water, Land and Farmers along the Silk Road'
Professor Max Spoor will be retiring after over 25 years at the International Institute of Social Studies. His research has focused on rural and environmental issues, such as land grabbing, access to water resources, poverty, and inequality, and social exclusion.
The lecture will be followed by a reception.
