The International Institute of Social Studies is once again hosting the annual conference of the International Association for Critical Realism.

Conference participants will seek answers to questions such as:
- What does it mean to be a realist?
- What does it mean to be a critical realist?
- Are there varieties of realist and critical realist approaches?
- Are they untied by a shared philosophy, concepts and methods?
Programme
The programme starts with a pre-conference on 27-29 July, followed by the conference proper on 30 July-1 August.
