The special interactive dialogue session on ‘Children, Future Generations and the Right to Development’ explored the intersection of children’s rights, the rights of future generations and the right to development, and their relevance to one another.

Karin Arts' contribution explained the meaning and implications of a child rights-based approach to the Right to Development (RTD) and was based on earlier research on the RTD and children’s rights and on some findings of the KidsRights Index project.
