ISS celebrates a major milestone with 300 PhD graduates who have completed their doctoral studies at the institute
To mark the occasion, ISS has published a commemorative booklet celebrating the scholars who have completed their doctoral journeys at the institute. The publication brings together the names of all 300 graduates, reflections from members of the ISS community and personal insights from alumni on their experiences at ISS.
The milestone reflects decades of investment in research, critical thinking and knowledge production on some of the world's most pressing development challenges. ISS PhD graduates have gone on to become researchers, educators, government officials, policymakers and practitioners across the globe, contributing to change in diverse contexts.
More than a celebration of a number, the milestone speaks to the strength of the ISS research community and its global network of scholars. Together, these 300 graduates represent a growing body of knowledge and a shared commitment to understanding and addressing complex development challenges.
The commemorative booklet serves as both a record of this achievement and a tribute to the people who have helped shape the ISS PhD programme over the years.
