Nominations open for the 5th FAME Athena Award

This week marks the opening of nominations for the 5th FAME Athena Award. The premier award at EUR for recognising individuals who stimulate and encourage female talent within the EUR community.

Over the last 5 years this prestigious award has been awarded to some of the leading professionals and academics at EUR. However, for the first time in this awards history, FAME Athena will look to recognise the important contributions of students also.

The winner of the FAME Athena Award will receive a signed commendation from the Rector Magnificus and the president of FAME and a painting by the noted artist, Sofja Wolsky. The award presentation will be at the Dies Natalis on Friday 8th November 2019.

Nominations are open this year to anyone who works or studies at Erasmus University or Erasmus MC.

You can submit your nomination until the 16th of September 2019. More information on the criteria and guidelines regarding the nomination of a candidate can be found in the regulations.
