The Hague Humanitarian Studies Centre (HSC), based at the International Institute of Social Studies, is excited to announce that Tammam Aloudat, CEO of The New Humanitarian, will give the keynote at this year’s conference on ‘Humanitarian Studies: Adapting and reworking in new times and contexts’ on Friday 12 September 2025.
Dr Aloudat, a Syrian-Swiss physician with over two decades of experience at the forefront of international humanitarian organisations, is a leading advocate for decolonising global health and advancing humanitarianism.
