Rojas Herrera identifies three types of land rushes:
- corporate large-scale operational land deals
- non-operational or failed land deals
- every-day 'pin-prick' land accumulation
With a focus on the Colombian Amazon, she hopes to gain a better understanding of each type of land rush and a better grasp of the overall phenomenon.
