The Lutfia Rabbani Foundation, Erasmus Trustfonds and the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) have joined forces to support students from the Arab world who have been admitted to the Master of Arts in Development Studies at ISS, part of Erasmus University Rotterdam. They are offering an annual scholarship to an outstanding Arab Master’s student who demonstrates both academic excellence and a dedicated commitment to advancing Euro-Arab dialogue.
The REISS Scholarship will also include a mentoring programme that offers the scholarship recipient guidance on a personal and professional level while also providing access to an extensive and diverse network.
A shared vision for the future
The scholarship is designed for students who not only excel in their specific fields of study but also act as ambassadors for cross-cultural understanding. This partnership is rooted in a shared belief that education is a catalyst for peace, and that sustainable progress is only possible through inclusive, multilateral cooperation. By aligning their institutional values, the three partners aim to create a lasting legacy of mutual respect and academic exchange.
