From 1 January 2023 Lucinda Jones started working as the new University Librarian. With her legal background and broad experience as a leader in the world of publishing and libraries, she looks forward to putting her expertise to good use for the Erasmus University.
In her previous position, at the KB - the National Library of the Netherlands, she was responsible for all things concerning the digital content for the public libraries at a national level, the digital transition in collection management of our written heritage and ensuring that all digital data is available according to the FAIR principles and thus contributing to the national Open Science policy.
Before the KB, she worked at various publishing companies in the Netherlands (Kluwer, Reed and Sdu) where she was responsible for the transition from paper publications to digital publications, databases and software products.
