You can now authorize the EUR Research Portal to update your ORCID record for you. Your publications in the EUR Research Portal will automatically be added to your ORCID record. Employment information, a link to your EUR Research Portal page, and, when available, other author identifiers are added as well. Adding information to your ORCID record via an institution works as a 'trust marker': the organisation will appear as the source of the information, enabling you and others to be confident that the information is trustworthy.
To connect your ORCID iD and record to your Pure profile:
- Login to Pure with your EUR credentials;
- Click on Edit profile on your personal overview page;
- Click Authorize export of content to ORCID (when your ORCID iD is already visible in Pure) or Create or Connect your ORCID iD (when your ORCID iD is not yet visible in Pure, or when you don't have an ORCID iD);
- Click Proceed;
- Sign in with your ORCID credentials;
- Authorize EUR Research Portal to access your ORCID record;
- Click Save at the bottom of the screen;
- EUR Research Portal is now one of your 'Trusted parties';
- Click Edit Profile again and click the Export link behind your ORCID iD - information will be exported from the Pure repository to your ORCID record;
- Once connected, the information is updated daily.
