We are sad to announce that former professor at the International Institute of Social Studies, Professor Graham Pyatt, passed away recently.
Professor Pyatt passed away following a longer period of ill-health.Â
He joined the International Institute of Social Studies in 1994 as professor in the Economics of Development, where he stayed until his retirement.
Before joining ISS he had been an influential economist, working for many years at Warwick University as one of the founders of that university's Department of Economics.Â
The thoughts of the ISS community are with his family and close friends.
